About Fitzwilliam medical writing

Following completion of my PhD in Medical Neuroscience in 2014, I completed two postdoctoral positions, first in the area of neuropathic pain at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and second, in the area of metastatic brain cancer at the University of Oxford.

I have also worked as a development scientist in the medical device industry for Oxsonics Therapeutics.

I have been working as a freelance medical writer since 2022, and my broad experience in academia and industry, as well as a strong publication record, gives me a unique set of real-world skills to translate complex research into clear, compelling content that resonates with both scientific and lay audiences.
